The VLEN coalition has shed light on what it describes as the truth behind the recent rhetoric of the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI). In a public response, they have released an official notice issued by the Serbian Presidency, which they say reveals the content of a key meeting between the Serbian head of state, Aleksandar Vučić, and the former foreign minister, Bujar Osmani.
From examining this document, VLEN points out that the agenda included “improving the status of the Serbian community in North Macedonia”. For this political formation, this proves that during its governance, BDI did not prioritize the Albanian national interest.

Through this publication, VLEN aims to completely dismantle the narrative constructed by BDI about the so-called “Serbian world”. According to them, it is precisely the officials who today fuel debates with accusations who previously held discussions on matters that do not align with the Albanian agenda.
“Past mistakes cannot be covered up with media appearances and fabrications. The evidence speaks for itself. We in VLEN do not deal in propaganda, but rely on indisputable truths,” concludes the coalition’s statement.
