The meeting was held at the President’s offices, where media representatives had the opportunity to record the first moments of the meeting, while a press statement was expected after the conclusion of the talks.
During the discussions, Shiroka-Pula highlighted Kosovo’s gratitude for the unwavering support that Washington has given our country, describing America as an irreplaceable strategic partner.
She considered it essential that the Strategic Dialogue be activated as soon as possible, viewing it as a key instrument for strengthening ties between the two countries and advancing shared objectives.

Before the senators, the president reaffirmed that Kosovo’s entry into NATO is the country’s primary objective.
“Without America’s support this objective would be impossible. Membership in the Alliance would bring greater security and stability, not only for Kosovo, but for the entire Balkans,” said Shiroka-Pula.
