The Korçë Prosecution presented the facts gathered during the investigations in support of the charges, according to which Pasho was working together with four other people who were involved in transporting drugs from Albanian territory to Greece.
Investigating authorities say that it was Pasho himself who gave orders to his subordinates to check only certain vehicles at the border crossing point, leaving the cars carrying cannabis sativa narcotics without verification.
As part of the same criminal case, Greek authorities arrested Lorenco Lika and Ervin Ibi after finding 26 kilograms of drugs in the vehicle they were traveling in. According to the prosecution, the vehicle had crossed the border without customs checks, in accordance with the order given by Pasho.
The first ruling of the Korçë Court envisaged a sentence of 11 years in prison, but the summary trial procedure brought the final sentence to 7.4 years of imprisonment.
Throughout the trial, the defendant has consistently denied any involvement on his part in the criminal offense attributed to him.
