PDK MP Përparim Gruda reacted after last night’s protest in Pristina, accusing the Kosovo Police of using violence against citizens taking part.

According to Gruda, the government has not provided the necessary support for the KLA during the judicial process. He also said that the law on protecting the KLA will be passed.
Gruda said that last night’s protest, in his view, demonstrated the approach of the VV authorities, whom he accused of using brutal police force in Pristina’s square against citizens demanding the passage of this law.
The MP questioned which free European people would accept such treatment.
He criticized the state for shirking responsibility for supporting and protecting the KLA in court, while emphasizing that the police used violence against protesters demanding the passage of the law.
Gruda added that they cannot avoid passing the law and that they have no other option, as it will be passed.
