As in previous days, protesters are expected to gather first in Skanderbeg Square before marching toward the Prime Minister’s Office.
In addition to Rama’s resignation, protesters have also called for the creation of a transitional technical government, as well as changes to the political and electoral system.
At last night’s rally, citizens repeated their calls for the prime minister’s resignation and accused the government of corruption, abuse of office and mismanagement.
Protesters have declared that they will not back down from their demands and that the rallies will continue every day.
Meanwhile, the civic campaign is expected to intensify in the coming days. Another protest has been announced for October 13, with calls for greater participation by students and young people.
