The Special Prosecution Office of the Republic of Kosovo has filed an indictment against a person suspected of committing the criminal offense of “migrant smuggling.”

The indictment was filed with the Basic Court in Pristina against the defendant identified by the initials N.L., the Special Prosecution Office announced, as reported by “Bota Sot.”
According to the allegations, he acted together with other individuals by arranging for people inside and outside the territory of Kosovo who intended to migrate to various European countries.
The case is expected to be reviewed by the justice authorities. Until a final decision is issued, the defendant is presumed innocent.
