In a social media reaction, Opportunity Party leader Agron Shehaj responded to SPAK’s action that placed SHISH director Vlora Hyseni under house arrest and led to searches at the home of former State Police director Ilir Proda, as part of the investigation into the AKSHI scandal.

Shehaj says Edi Rama’s government is now falling and is calling for the prime minister’s resignation.
“Edi Rama has just had his secret service chief, Vlora Hyseni, arrested, while the former police director general, Ilir Proda, had his home searched. The AKSHI scandal is exposing Edi Rama’s criminal state.
His regime is crumbling. Rama must resign! He must take responsibility for compromising all institutions of the Albanian state,” Shehaj emphasized.
According to Shehaj, following the arrest of Tirana mayor Erion Veliaj, the investigations and SPAK’s request to arrest former deputy prime minister Belinda Balluku, the Special Prosecution’s probe now reveals that the institution meant to safeguard the country’s security, the Secret Service, has also been compromised.
“Rama’s criminal regime is crumbling by the day. There is no important institution that hasn’t been compromised,” the Opportunity leader said.
