Ohrid police have filed a criminal complaint against A.M. (61) from Struga, suspected of having prepared fake decisions on land privatization in favor of other individuals between 2022 and 2024.

He is charged with the criminal offenses of “abuse of official position and authority,” “negligent performance of duty,” and “falsification of official documents.”
According to the Ministry of Interior, A.M. was employed at the Ministry of Finance, in the Struga Department for Property and Legal Affairs, where he served as an advisor and had authorization to sign official acts. Exploiting his position, in 2022, 2023, and 2024, he allegedly drafted fake land privatization decisions, arbitrarily affixed an official stamp to give them legal validity, and then forwarded them to the Struga Real Estate Cadastre Department without first submitting them to the competent institution for an opinion.
