KDI asks Constitutional Court to impose an interim measure concerning Parliament and the government

The Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI) has asked the Constitutional Court to impose an interim measure concerning the constitution of Parliament and the formation of a new government, following two requests submitted by the PDK.

According to Vullnet Bugaqku of the KDI, the measure is necessary because of uncertainties over compliance with the Constitution during the constitution of Parliament.

At a press conference held on Tuesday, KDI representatives also asked the Constitutional Court to determine the legal consequences arising from Parliament not being constituted within the 30-day deadline following the certification of the elections.
