The Criminal Cases Council of the Supreme Court decided at a session held yesterday to overturn the final ruling against Stevço Jakimovski and return the case for retrial.

According to the reasoning behind the decision, Jakimovski’s request for an extraordinary review of the final ruling, submitted through his defense lawyer, Viktor Cvetkovski of Kumanovo, was accepted.
The decision annuls the judgments of the Basic Criminal Court in Skopje and the Court of Appeals in Skopje. The case has been returned to the Basic Criminal Court in Skopje for a retrial and a new ruling.
