ARRSH stated that on August 14 and 15, 2026, from 23:00 to 05:00, work will be carried out to install the metal beams for the new Kashar overpass as part of the expansion project.
During this period, two lanes of the main carriageway in the Tirana-Durrës direction will be closed.
According to ARRSH, traffic heading toward Durrës will be diverted onto the two lanes on the left side of the highway, which will temporarily operate as a two-way road.
Meanwhile, vehicles traveling to Tirana International Airport will continue without disruption.

As work continues on the project titled “Expansion of the Tirana-Durrës Highway (Phase III),” it is necessary to implement the Traffic Management Plan.
On August 14 and 15, 2026, from 23:00 to 05:00, the metal beams for the new Kashar overpass will be installed. To carry out this work and ensure road safety, it is necessary to close two lanes of the main carriageway in the Tirana-Durrës direction.
