Twelve wildfires remain active across the country out of 45 reported over the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defense said.

The ministry said 839 emergency personnel and 72 fire engines have been deployed. The Armed Forces have also provided support with 250 personnel, five helicopters and two Air Tractor aircraft. Currently, 167 Armed Forces personnel, three helicopters and two aircraft remain active on the ground.
Operations are continuing in areas including Dajt, Priskë e Madhe, Patos-Mallakastër, Krujë, Përmet, Dibër, Devoll, Mirditë and Vau i Dejës.
In Dajt, the fire remains active in the forested area near the water factory in Selitë and above the Qafë-Mollë tunnels. Firefighters are tackling the blaze from the ground and with two helicopters, while authorities say there is no risk to residential areas.
In Priskë e Madhe, the fire has spread toward Gurrë, Farkë and Lundër, where ground crews and aircraft are working to bring the situation under control.
In Krujë, the fire in the Abaze neighborhood remains active, while the Armed Forces and aircraft have been deployed to protect residential areas. Meanwhile, no danger to residents has been reported in Krastë and Halil.
In Gurë-Lurë, Dibër, a large-scale ground and aerial operation is underway, involving emergency services, local forces, police, the forestry service and 50 Armed Forces personnel, supported by two Air Tractor aircraft.
Wildfires also remain active in Patos-Mallakastër, Përmet, Devoll, Mirditë and Vau i Dejës, mainly in forested areas and difficult mountainous terrain. In several of these areas, no risk to residential communities has been reported.
Meanwhile, the fire in Vilëz, Kurbin, is being monitored following an intervention by ground crews and an Armed Forces helicopter.
