VMRO-DPMNE: How Filipche’s and Zaev’s names became linked to Iva Mihailova’s escape

VMRO-DPMNE accuses Venko Filipche of trying to portray himself as a partisan after openly promoting and defending Rumen Radev’s positions for a long time—first the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution, and then everything else—as did the Bulgarian ambassador.

This is the same Venko Filipche who wants to be a partisan but, together with his mentor Zoran Zaev, removed the decisions of ASNOM from the Constitution of Macedonia.

This is the very same Filipche who wants to wear a partisan uniform, as well as the same mentor, Zaev, who has clearly stated that during World War II, the Bulgarian fascists in Macedonia were not occupiers but administrators.

Venko Filipche’s partisan uniform and his march in the heroic city of Prilep on the eve of October 11 are simply camouflage, as he realized that Macedonian citizens will not accept a new betrayal of national interests.

While Filipche was turning into a partisan, behind the scenes he was apparently once again working for Rumen Radev and Bulgaria. The latest case concerns Iva Mihailova, who fled to a neighboring country.

In this context, Ivan Barbov, a doctor who was director of the Neurology Clinic during the SDSM government in 2017 and was personally appointed by Zoran Zaev and Filipche, prepared a several-page medical report. It clearly states that the treatment method for patient Iva Mihailova is not available in Macedonia but is available in one of the neighboring countries, such as the Republic of Bulgaria.

Dr. Barbov is no stranger to the Macedonian public; he was convicted in the “Metastaza” criminal case, in which he was among those prosecuted for mediating the issuance of disability pensions.

According to information published at the time, Barbov and the others took between 1,500 and 4,000 euros per applicant to illegally arrange disability pensions. During the two years the group operated, they made 165,000 euros but caused the Health Insurance Fund losses of 53,000 euros, VMRO-DPMNE said. /Telegrafi/
