VLEN describes this corridor as a strategic national interest and an important opportunity for the country’s economic growth. The project will improve road links with Albania and Bulgaria, facilitate the movement of goods, and create better conditions for investment and economic cooperation.
This infrastructure project is seen as a factor that will shape the country’s development prospects. Each newly built section brings North Macedonia closer to a modern road system and gives it a greater role in the regional trade network.
According to VLEN, the advancement of Corridor 8 is directly linked to the goal of achieving economic development, strengthening regional cooperation, and integrating into European structures.
“The aim is to turn the country’s geographical position into an economic advantage through infrastructure that serves citizens, businesses, and future generations,” VLEN said./Telegrafi/
