Kamza high school students, who boycotted classes to join the youth protest outside the Ministry of Education in Tirana, were stopped by police.
The young people were prevented from continuing their journey to the capital, where they intended to join the other protesters.

During the confrontation with police officers, one member of the Rapid Intervention Force addressed the high school students, saying: “Go home, you’re just kids. What business do you have with the others?”
The youth protests, which began several days ago, are linked to dissatisfaction with education and recent developments in the country.
