In the past 24 hours, up to 7:30 this morning, 23 fires were recorded in open areas, the Crisis Management Center (QMK) reported. Of these, two remain active, one has been brought under control, while the other 20 have been extinguished.

One of the active fires is located near Makedonski Brod, in the Vidush area near the village of Dragov Dol, where low vegetation, low-stemmed forest and shrubs are burning.
Meanwhile, another active fire continues in the Sredorek settlement in the Municipality of Kumanovo, where waste has caught fire.
The Central Emergency Management Agency said that the fire at the city landfill in Delchevo is under control.
