Donald Trump said he was “happy” that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, had left the US to return to Britain. The US president suggested that he would most likely not welcome them back.

Responding to reporters’ questions about “foreign visitors” and the couple’s return to Britain, Trump said he was pleased by the development.
The US president said he had not been a supporter of Harry and Meghan. He stressed that he had enjoyed very good relations with Queen Elizabeth and King Charles, whom he had known for a long time, first as a prince and now as king. Trump described Charles as a wonderful person, while saying that the couple had been very disrespectful toward the royal family and that he had not liked the way they had behaved.
Trump added that, in his view, their behavior amounted to disrespect toward the queen and the king. He concluded by saying that, if he were in the royal family’s position, he would not take Harry and Meghan back.
