A young woman was found drowned this Friday on a beach in Vlora.
A. Gjilaj, 29, lost her life at sea while she was in the area on holiday with her family.

The incident happened at Porto Novo beach, also known as one of the dangerous beaches because of the currents. The young woman had been vacationing in this area, where there is also a sign warning of the danger from sea currents.
The body was transported by inflatable boat, as the road for vehicles is difficult and slow because of the pothole-ridden terrain. According to information, it was impossible to save her, as she showed no signs of life.
The body was first transported to Triport, then to the morgue.
