Students and young people have called for a nationwide protest this Tuesday, October 13, at 14:00 outside the Ministry of Education in Tirana.

Organizers are calling on students from every city in the country and other citizens to join the rally and speak out against the problems affecting young people.
The call for the protest was made public through a banner in which organizers express their dissatisfaction with issues that, they say, remain unresolved and with the lack of a response from institutions.
“We are protesting against everything that does not work and for everything we want to be different,” reads the message published by the organizers.
The main concerns expected to be raised during the protest include conditions at Albanian universities, the costs of studying and support for students. Young people are demanding more concrete policies to ensure that higher education creates real opportunities for professional development and employment.
