Authorities in Australia have launched an investigation to determine the origin of six large metal spheres that appeared over the weekend on Forrest Beach, in the northern Queensland region. Initial suspicions suggest they could be debris from a space rocket that re-entered Earth’s atmosphere.
The objects were discovered by local residents, who immediately alerted emergency services. Fire crews wearing protective suits for hazardous materials later went to the scene, while police established a 50-meter safety perimeter around each object. The spheres were placed in special barrels for transporting materials that may pose a risk.

According to the Australian Space Agency, the location where they were found and the characteristics of these objects are consistent with debris from a rocket body that recently entered Earth’s atmosphere. However, it has not yet been confirmed which rocket they belong to, and checks are continuing in cooperation with international authorities.
For safety reasons, residents have been urged not to touch the spheres and to immediately contact emergency services if they come across other similar objects.
Meanwhile, speculation has circulated online that the spheres could be spacecraft tanks, which may contain fuel or reactive substances.
