The forum took place at the offices of the Presidential Institute, where journalists had the opportunity to record the first moments of the meeting, while an official statement is expected to be released to the public after the conclusion of the talks.
During the talks, Shiroka-Pula emphasized the decisive role that Washington has played for Kosovo, calling the alliance with America invaluable and the support given by both political parties in Congress a constant in the country’s journey.
The head of state considered a priority the earliest possible resumption of the Strategic Dialogue between the two countries, which, according to her, remains the main pillar for expanding bilateral relations and advancing joint agendas.

Meanwhile, she reaffirmed that the main objective of Kosovo’s foreign policy continues to be membership in the transatlantic alliance.
“Without America’s support, this objective would be unattainable. Kosovo’s entry into NATO would bring greater security and peace, not only for the residents of our country, but for the entire region,” said Shiroka-Pula during her speech.
