Political analyst Arbnor Sadiku has reacted to the PDK’s initiative concerning the Special Court, stating that the Assembly of Kosovo has the opportunity to adopt an institutional resolution opposing the court’s decisions and the sentencing of Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders.

According to Sadiku, the adoption of such a document should be supported by all political parties represented in the Assembly of Kosovo.
He stressed that, if abolishing the Special Court is not possible, the Assembly could, on behalf of the people of Kosovo, express an institutional position opposing its decisions and the sentencing of KLA leaders.
Sadiku said that a joint declaration by the parties would convey a clear institutional message, while maintaining respect for the independence of the judiciary and at the same time calling for equal justice, due process and respect for the rights of the accused.
