Questions about corruption among officials in his government led to a clash between Prime Minister Edi Rama and American Channel 5 journalist Andrew Callaghan during their interview.
As Callaghan continued to press for answers on the issue, the documentary displayed the criminal charges against officials in Rama’s government. These included charges against former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.

After reiterating his position that everyone bears individual responsibility, the prime minister was asked by the journalist how he felt about corruption. Rama reacted sharply, asking Callaghan how he knew what the prime minister felt about the subject.
The journalist explained that this was precisely what he was asking: how he felt. In response, Rama addressed him as “young man” and said he was not there to share his feelings but to respond to facts.
The prime minister then asked Callaghan what he would tell his audience and why he had traveled all the way from America, questioning whether he had come to gossip with him.
Without giving a direct answer, Rama told the journalist that he was welcoming him respectfully and giving him his valuable time. He asked Callaghan to use that time respectfully as well.
