Citizens’ participation was not diminished by the nonstop rain, as they continued moving along the route set by the organizers. In some cases, the protesters stopped to deliver speeches and convey their messages to state institutions.
According to participants, their decision to protest despite the bad weather shows their determination to continue the civic action. They expressed the belief that the rainfall does not lessen public dissatisfaction and cannot stop the protests that have been taking place for several weeks.
