Speaking outside the prime minister’s office, a protester sharply criticized the State Police’s handling of demonstrations and accused the government of using force against citizens, students and minors.
She questioned the use of a drone worth 300,000 euros, water-cannon vehicles and other crowd-control equipment during the protests. According to the protester, bladed weapons and chemical agents were also used in clashes, which, she claimed, had affected police officers as well.

The protester said the police’s aim was to drive citizens off the streets, while officers, she alleged, were being rewarded by the government for their actions against demonstrators.
“The police want us to leave. But isn’t the 300,000-euro drone a criminal offense? What about the water-cannon vehicles we saw yesterday, the bladed weapons used against children, the students and minors whose legs are being broken, and the use of chemical agents against protesters? The toxins used are also harming the police, but they are incompetent and don’t understand that. Rama is rewarding the police to beat protesters,” she said.
She went on to say that citizens were demanding justice and that the protest would continue. In her statement, the protester used strong language against the prime minister and voiced her conviction that the government would fall.
“Enough of treating us like fools, you crows and ravens. We’ve heard enough from you. Your time is up. This man will fall, if not today, then tomorrow. That’s why he has brought in heavy equipment. We are demanding justice,” the protester said.
