A small aircraft operating tourist flights crashed on Saturday over the Nazca Lines, one of Peru’s most important archaeological areas, known for the ancient geoglyphs of the Nazca civilization.
State television channel TVPeru reported that there were 11 passengers on board, while the crew consisted of two pilots.

From the crash site, police commander Jorge Andrade said that none of the 13 people on board survived.
There is still no information on the reasons that led to the plane crash. Authorities have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
