The village of Vidhishtë in Roskovec woke up this morning covered in silence and pain.

In its alleyways, the usual voices of residents are no longer heard. Everyone has headed in the same direction, toward the Plaka family home, where the doors of mourning have opened for the two spouses who lost their lives in the serious crime that shook the entire country.
As Top Channel correspondent Neritan Trifoni reports, amid tears and shock, residents and relatives remember the two deceased as gentle, hardworking, and respected people by the entire community. No one can believe that within minutes a family was destroyed and an entire village plunged into mourning.
Today, at 11:00 a.m., family members, friends, and hundreds of residents will bid a final farewell to the two spouses at the village cemetery. A ceremony filled with pain, where tears and silence speak louder than any words.
Meanwhile, the funeral ceremony for the perpetrator of the incident will take place on Sunday morning. The decision was made to avoid any tension between the families, as they live in the same area and the ceremonies are held at the same cemetery.
Even though only a few hours have passed since the tragedy, the wounds this event has left in Vidhishtë seem incurable. Residents say this morning will long remain in their memory, as the day when a family was wiped out and an entire village lost its peace.
