PE “Water Supply and Sewerage” – Skopje announced that the drinking water in the City of Skopje meets safety and quality requirements.

From September 14 to 18, 2026, the Sanitary Control Department collected samples at 49 measuring points across the City of Skopje. A total of 206 samples were taken for physicochemical analysis, and the same number for microbiological analysis.
The results showed that all samples comply with the Rulebook on drinking water safety and quality requirements, published in the “Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia” No. 183/18.
PE “Water Supply and Sewerage” emphasized that weekly reports are published to keep residents regularly informed about the quality and safety of drinking water in Skopje.
