According to Kraki, Abdixhiku acted correctly in trying to restore LDK’s role as a political entity that helps institutions function, rather than blocking them.
“I want to publicly commend the LDK chairman’s approach regarding the issue of the president,” Kraki wrote.
He said the aim was to restore LDK to the position of a force that contributes to the country’s institutional functioning.
“Lumir Abdixhiku rightly wanted to restore LDK to the role that belongs to it—that is, the role of a party that enables things to get done, rather than blocking them,” he said.
Kraki stressed that the functioning of Kosovo’s institutions should be the focus, while opposing what he described as the “committee mentality.”
“The most important thing for all of us: Kosovo with functioning institutions,” Kraki wrote.
In conclusion, the lawmaker also issued a political warning about future developments within LDK.
“The new LDD will meet the fate of the old LDD,” he concluded.
