A new road segment has been inaugurated and is now serving the residents of Dubrosht village in the Municipality of Tearca. This project was financed by a government grant dedicated to capital investments at the local level.

Daut Memishi, the mayor of the Municipality of Tearca, announced that the works consisted of asphalting a segment 600 meters long and with a width ranging between 5.5 and 6 meters. He also emphasized that during this investment, utility poles that obstructed free circulation were removed.
“We have just completed and made available the road built thanks to support from the Government’s call grant. The new asphalted road extends for 600 meters and its width varies from 5.5 to 6 meters. The poles that hindered passage have been removed, and very soon we will begin construction of sidewalks, a task that falls under the responsibility of the Municipality of Tearca,” said Memishi.
He expressed gratitude to the Deputy Minister of Transport and Connections, Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri, for the continuous support she provides to the municipality, as well as to the diaspora members present at the ceremony. Memishi assured that the municipality is committed to continuing with the implementation of other infrastructure projects.
Present at this event, Deputy Minister Kaltrina Zekolli Shaqiri highlighted that the Municipality of Tearca has benefited from several infrastructure projects as a result of government calls and the partnership with the World Bank.
“The projects include two from the first cycle and five others from the second cycle of calls. In total, for the Municipality of Tearca within this call, we have allocated 2.2 million euros, and this is simply the beginning of a 24-month governance. We are making tangible investments and modernizing the infrastructure of our municipalities,” she stated.
According to official sources, investments in the road network of the Municipality of Tearca will continue in the coming period, in line with state programs for the advancement of municipalities.
