A working meeting was held between Jeton Shasivari, Minister of Justice, and Florian Qehaja, Ambassador of Kosovo to North Macedonia, with the main focus on intensifying bilateral cooperation in the justice sector.

The central topics of discussion were those aimed at consolidating the rule of law, ensuring the autonomy of the judiciary, and the digital modernization of the justice system, all as part of efforts to enhance the performance of institutions.
Highlighting the closeness of their perspectives, Shasivari stated that both countries share a common vision for a stable, democratic future anchored in the European Union for the entire region.
“The exchange of experiences and successful models between North Macedonia and Kosovo, as neighbors and partners, will facilitate the implementation of reforms and further strengthen our ties. Both sides aim for a stable, democratic, and EU-integrated region,” the minister emphasized.
He further underlined that the harmonious work between the respective justice institutions and the exchange of knowledge are key to accelerating reform processes, strengthening the rule of law, and achieving common objectives towards European membership.
