Kosovo is ready to assist Albania and Montenegro, where fires have swept through various areas, acting Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci has announced.

He said he had informed his counterparts, the defense ministers of Albania and Montenegro, that Kosovo’s Ministry of Defense could provide support using the capacities available to the country.
“If the relevant authorities consider such assistance necessary, Kosovo is ready to contribute by making our capacities available to address the situation caused by the fires.
In such circumstances, cooperation and solidarity are particularly important. The Ministry of Defense, the Kosovo Security Force and the Republic’s other institutions remain ready to provide support and contribute wherever our capacities can be of use,” Maqedonci stated.
