Acting Minister of Defence Ejup Maqedonci received Bulgaria’s ambassador to Kosovo, Hristo Kraevski, with whom he discussed the security situation, recent developments, and the need to preserve peace and stability in the region.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that Bulgaria, as a member of NATO and the European Union, continues to be an important partner for Kosovo.
The Ministry of Defence said that both sides appreciated the good relations between Kosovo and Bulgaria, stressing the need to continue and expand bilateral cooperation in sectors of mutual interest.
Bulgaria’s support for Kosovo on its path toward integration into Euro-Atlantic structures was another issue highlighted during the talks.
The role of Bulgaria in maintaining peace and security in Kosovo through its participation in KFOR was also highlighted. This contribution was described as evidence of Bulgaria’s continued commitment to stability and security in Kosovo and the region.
At the end of the meeting, representatives of both countries confirmed their willingness to continue their joint engagement and further advance Kosovo-Bulgaria cooperation in the field of defence and security.
