Kurti said that the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, has already spoken on this matter.

“The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has made statements; I have to leave in 20 minutes,” Kurti said, avoiding a direct stance on Dacic’s words.

During the election rally in Raska, Dacic declared that the Serbian flag would be placed “sooner or later” over Prizren, the city where he was born. He also stressed that his party would never recognize Kosovo’s independence.

Dacic further claimed that if his party gets the support of citizens in the upcoming elections, 20 more states will withdraw recognition of Kosovo.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Glauk Konjufca, condemned the statement, describing it as an indication of Serbia’s territorial ambitions towards Kosovo.

Konjufca called on institutions and the international community to condemn these actions.
