He addressed this issue at the opening of the government cabinet meeting, which is currently underway, and stressed the need to devise a strategy for their defense in the appeal.
Kurti said that the day after tomorrow marks one month since the verdict in The Hague for four former KLA leaders: Hashim Thaçi, Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veseli and Rexhep Selimi. He added that the government will continue to support them in the appeal process, where he expects the injustice to be corrected.
According to him, moving forward requires a well-thought-out strategy and a deep analysis of the full verdict. Kurti emphasized that success in the appeal requires organization and announced that an important corresponding decision will be made today.
