The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that over the past 24 hours, during operations and checks carried out in Skopje, Tetovo, Gostivar, Kumanovo, Kriva Palanka, Radovish, Bitola, Resen, Prilep, and Kicevo, 23 people were deprived of their liberty after drugs were found on them.
In Skopje, during the day yesterday, at various locations, police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department arrested A.B. (19), G.L. (38), M.B. (22), N.T. (25), M.A. (40), all from Skopje, as well as N.J. (22) from the village of Sladujevo, Demir Hisar, and V.S. (35) from Makedonski Brod. According to the Interior Ministry, white powdery substance, white solid substance, and marijuana were found and seized from these individuals. After the cases are fully clarified, appropriate charges will be filed.

In Bitola, yesterday at 12:30, on “15 May” Street, police officers from the Bitola Internal Affairs Department deprived A.L. (32) and M.L. (34), both from the Bitola area, of their liberty. In Kicevo, yesterday at 16:30, on “Levce Stefanoski Tarzan” Street, police arrested B.B. (32) from the village of Bogojce, B.M. (42) from the village of Gorno Tatesh, and N.D. (23) from the village of Livade, Municipality of Struga. During a traffic check, a “Golf” vehicle with Struga license plates, in which these persons were traveling, was stopped. After checks were carried out, a white powdery substance was found and seized from B.M. After the case is fully clarified and documented, the Kicevo General Police Department will file the appropriate charges.
