In a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Edi Rama has again responded to the latest debates involving Serbia and Kosovo over the Ibar River, defending his statement a day earlier that “Serbia lost Kosovo.”
Rama said he has a special way of measuring the accuracy of his positions when he speaks about Serbia. He referred to his critics in Pristina as “the army of nationalist turbo-folk trolls.”

So my position was precise, given that in that entire exhaustive intervention—which was also welcomed by British MP Alicia Kerns herself, an ardent champion of Kosovo in the United Kingdom—the nationalist turbo-folk base in Pristina found a single sentence to latch onto so as not to allow that clear position against Serbia’s provocation to “confuse” the turbo-folk fans 🤡
That Serbia lost Kosovo is simply a fact, as searing for nationalist turbo-folk in Belgrade as it is irritating for nationalist turbo-folk in Pristina, and their renewed alignment yesterday in their pathetic opposition to me is simply another compliment for the diplomacy of Albania, the Europe of the Balkans 🇦🇱❤️🇪🇺
