The chief negotiator of the Republic of Kosovo with the European Union, Jeton Zulfaj, held a meeting today as part of cooperation with development partners. He received Daniel Alker, Head of Development Cooperation at the German Embassy in Kosovo, as well as Marcus Delf, GIZ Director for Kosovo and North Macedonia.

During the meeting, Zulfaj expressed his gratitude to the delegation for Germany’s unwavering support for Kosovo’s institutions, which it has provided and continues to provide.
Meanwhile, Kosovo is undertaking early institutional preparations as part of the EU integration process. The aim is to improve the efficiency of the administration and build the capacities needed to launch accession negotiations.
For Kosovo, development assistance is of particular importance, while Germany remains one of the largest contributors in this field.
