Yesterday, Albanians living in the United Kingdom took to the streets to express their opposition to the government led by Edi Rama.
They raised their voices against widespread corruption, control over state institutions and the measures driving young people to emigrate.

Through banners bearing anti-government messages and calls for the overthrow of the corrupt structure, diaspora representatives stressed that their voices would soon be heard in the heart of the Albanian capital.
They announced that a long convoy of cars would set off from England for Albania, with the aim of taking part in the large rally announced for September 12.
The journey by car, which will pass through the European continent, is considered a clear signal that Albanians living abroad are determined to confront the current administration, even at the cost of personal sacrifices.
