Security camera footage capturing the final moments of Nicolai Palamarciuc, a Moldovan-born salesman beaten to death by his bosses in an industrial area of the Başakşehir district in Turkey, has been released.

The shocking incident occurred in September 2025. Palamarciuc, a father of two, was allegedly accused of theft and subjected to violence by his employers, who then took him to an area without security cameras.
The video shows four people, including the owners of the company where the victim worked. They hit him, knock him to the floor and forcefully push him toward an elevator that takes him to a room without camera surveillance.
According to the case file, Palamarciuc was beaten and tortured in that room for a long period. Investigators suspect the perpetrators tried to force him to admit to the theft, which is believed to have been set up as a trap.
A forensic examination found that the cause of death was a lack of oxygen caused by pressure applied to his chest and neck.
A total of eight people have been arrested in connection with the case. During questioning, the suspects blamed one another for what happened.
The victim’s mother told Turkish media that her son had called her shortly before the attack and said he was not feeling well and that something was happening at his workplace.
“My son must have realized that something was wrong that day because he called me. He told me: ‘Mom, I feel very bad, something is happening at work. Everyone is discussing something, they are looking at me,’” she recounted.
She added that her son’s fears became reality when he was suddenly attacked and taken to a place without cameras.
“Three people were beating him and fell on top of him, causing fractures to his chest. My grandchildren were left without a father,” Palamarciuc’s mother said.
