This morning, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the western Iranian province of Kermanshah, causing tremors in the area near the city of Kuzaran.

According to the IRNA news agency, the earthquake was recorded at 07:13 local time, with its epicenter near Kuzaran and at a depth of about 8 kilometers.
The epicenter of the tremors was located about 17 kilometers from Kuzaran and approximately 65 kilometers from the city of Kermanshah, the administrative center of the province.
Authorities continue to monitor the situation, while as of now, no damage to buildings or injuries have been reported.
