Shocking new details have emerged about the tragic incident in the village of Demiraj, Gjilan, where a 27-year-old man and an infant were found dead this morning.
The Kosovo Police announced that a 65-year-old man, the father of the 27-year-old, had been arrested in connection with the case. He is suspected of being involved in the incident.

According to the official police statement, the two bodies were discovered following information received at around 8:47 a.m. on November 1. Police units, the State Prosecutor and an emergency medical team arrived at the scene, where the team confirmed the deaths of both individuals.
Based on the initial investigation, police suspect that the incident occurred within the family.
According to the information available, the 65-year-old was arrested and, by order of the prosecutor, was remanded in custody for 48 hours after being suspected of killing his son and grandson.
Meanwhile, by order of the State Prosecutor, the bodies were sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) in Pristina for autopsies.
The case has been classified as “Aggravated Murder,” while the investigation is continuing in coordination between the Kosovo Police and the Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances of this tragic incident.
