Further details have emerged regarding the operation carried out this morning by the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), as part of the ongoing investigation into the AKSHI affair.

By decision of the GJKKO, State Intelligence Service director Vlora Hyseni was placed under house arrest and suspended from duty, while the home of former police chief Ilir Proda was searched.
Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that Hyseni faces two charges, disclosure of investigative secrets and aiding the perpetrator of a crime, as she is suspected of helping Ergys Agasi evade capture. Agasi was arrested a few weeks ago.
Fatjon Kalluci, head of the Police Scientific Laboratory, and Embro Sulejmani, administrator of the “Kodra e kuajve” agritourism business in Durrës, have also been arrested.
Sulejmani worked as an administrator at an establishment in the government compound and is suspected of deleting security camera footage following Agasi’s arrest to conceal evidence that he had frequented the premises.
“Prosecutors have requested pretrial detention for Fatjon Kalluci, head of the Police Scientific Laboratory, and Embro Sulejmani, a business owner in Durrës, who was found to have worked at an establishment in the government compound and is suspected of deleting security camera footage at the time of Ergys Agasi’s arrest to conceal evidence that Agasi had frequented the premises. Searches are continuing at several locations and businesses in Durrës,” she said.
