For the 51st consecutive day, citizens continued protesting against what they describe as a corrupt political caste, demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. During the march through the capital, chants of “Edi Rama, resign,” “Your end has come,” and “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison” could be heard.

Protesters declared that their demands were non-negotiable and warned that the rallies would continue until Rama steps down.
Criticism was also directed at Parliament, which citizens said was filled with illiterate MPs and politicians who do not work in the country’s interests.
“We must be here on the 23rd. Let us not be absent,” the activist urged.
During the protest, demonstrators also chanted the slogans “No More Zegjine,” “All 140 MPs Are Illiterate,” “Albania Demands a Revolution,” and “Parliament of Crime.”
