The Crisis Management Center (CMC) announced that as of 6:00 p.m. today, August 11, 15 fires had been recorded across the country. Of these, two remain active, one has been brought under control, while the other 12 have been extinguished.

The active fires are in the municipalities of Makedonski Brod and Novo Selo. In Makedonski Brod, the flames have spread through the Vidush area, near the village of Dragov Dol, engulfing low vegetation, low-stemmed forests and shrubs. Meanwhile, on Mount Ograzhden, near Novo Selo, a landfill, a degraded mixed forest and low vegetation are burning.
The fire that engulfed the city landfill in Delchevo has been brought under control.
According to the CMC, fires have been extinguished near the village of Blatec in the Municipality of Vinica, as well as in the municipalities of Centar Zhupa, Kichevo, Lozovo, Brvenica, Zhelino, Tearce, Vrapchishte, Gazi Baba and Saraj, and also in Kumanovo.
