According to economic analyst Abil Baush, current economic data indicate that there is room for a slight increase in wages.
He stressed that during the first quarter of 2026, Gross Domestic Product recorded real growth of 3.1%, while unemployment stood at 11.3%. In April, the average net salary reached 48,779 denars.

Baush said these figures demonstrate growth in both economic activity and wages. However, he noted that any increase should be determined carefully, as small and medium-sized enterprises account for around 73% of employment and do not all have the same financial capacity.
