Assassination of Artan Myrtaj, Minister Demo orders dissolution of Sarandë police command structure

The new Interior Minister, Ervin Demo, held a meeting with police chiefs in the regions. According to News24, the meeting focused on the serious incident that occurred the previous day in Sarandë, where Artan Myrtaj was killed in the middle of the street.

During his address, Minister Demo was harsh with the police leadership and ordered the dissolution of the entire command chain in Sarandë.

It was also reported that he requested the creation of a task force in the city.
