“Will you race me?”
Luanda Marinho told CBS that she had seen the same man while out for a morning run with a friend.
According to her account, he addressed them several times, asking: “Will you race me? I bet I’m faster than you. Will you race me?”
Marinho said that she and her friend did not respond, even though the man repeatedly asked them the same question.
“It was very strange,” she said, explaining that after the incident, the two of them were considering changing their running route. “It was just strange, like a twisted game,” Marinho added.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone who may have information about the man’s identity or whereabouts to notify the authorities.
