AFA: Radoičić makes rounds near SNS, Serbia still hasn’t delivered justice for Banjska

A public appearance by Milan Radoičić at a rally of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), where he was accompanied by the son of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, has triggered an immediate reaction from the organization “Albanians for America,” which speaks of a lack of political accountability in Serbia.

The organization recalls that Radoičić, a name sanctioned by the United States and under indictment in Kosovo, has openly admitted that it was precisely he who founded the armed group that carried out the attack in Banjska in September 2023, an act during which Kosovo Police Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku lost his life.

Although more than three years have passed since the Banjska attack, according to AFA, Serbia has still not brought to justice the persons who bear responsibility for it.

In its latest editorial, “Albanians for America” calls on the United States and the European Union to demand concrete actions from Belgrade, in order to guarantee accountability for the Banjska attack.

According to the organization, Radoičić’s presence at the ruling party’s rallies casts serious doubts on Serbia’s commitment to justice, on the stability of the region, and on its relations with the West.
