Preliminarily, a gas cylinder is suspected to have caused the fire. The incident marks the second such case in Korçë County, following the earlier fire reported in Maliq, which is also suspected to have been caused by a gas cylinder.
Firefighting services were mobilized after being notified and intervened at the house to put out the flames. The operation brought the fire under control and contained it.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and verification efforts to determine the exact cause, as well as the circumstances in which the fire occurred.
